Japanese engineers have been flushing abundant seawater through two of the damaged reactors at the Fukushima nuclear power station.
They say they have made considerable progress towards cooling the reactors.
The government says the station will have to be shut, and the reactors at it, probably buried under mounds of concrete, Chernobyl style.
