Intel CEO Receives 2010 Pay Package Of $15.7 Mln


News ) President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Otellini received a pay package of $15.65 million in 2010, representing an increase of 7.3 percent from $14.58 million in 2009.
The company had reported a profit for fiscal year 2010 that more than doubled from the prior year, helped largely by an increase in post-recession corporate spending.According to Intel’s filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, Otellini received a base salary of $1 million in 2010, the same as in 2009 and 2008.
However, his non-equity incentive plan compensation increased 29 percent to $6.79 million from $5.25 million in the prior year.
Otellini’s equity awards in the year declined 7 percent to $7.32 million from $7.87 million a year ago.
