Italian ship freed in Libya

The earlier seized Italian-flagged ship with 11 crew onboard has been released in Libya.

The ship is operated by Augusta Offshore, partner of the oil giant Eni. Its crew consists of eight Italians, two Indians and one Ukrainian.

The ship was captured hours before the western coalition launched its military operation against Col Gaddafi’s regime. The latest figure of civilian deaths in the operation is 64.
