Japanese figure skaters may be offered free hotel accommodation in Moscow during the World Cup. A hotel chain, owned by the Moscow city government and an American billionaire, has come out with the initiative.
Moscow will be hosting the FIFA World Figure Skating Championships from April 25 to May 1. The International Skating Union has granted Moscow the right to host the championship, due to the earthquake devastation suffered by the initial host – Japan.
