Around 60 people are confirmed killed, with hundreds injured and dozens reported missing following today’s disastrous earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Shocks measuring 8.8 on the Richter scale were registered on Friday, with the focus of the earthquake beneath the Pacific Ocean, at the northeast coast of the country’s main island, Honshu.
