A record number of biathlonists will take part in the upcoming World Cup event in Russia’s Khanty – Mansiysk (West Siberia). 356 athletes from 40 countries confirmed their participation in 2011, compared to a maximum of 300 in previous years. The competition is due to take place on March 3-13.
