The renowned violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov is giving a traditional New Year concert in Moscow today in tandem with his long-time soprano partner Khibla Gerzmava and the Italian tenor Francesco Demuro, who has never performed in Russia before. Maestro Spivakov and Russia’a Philharmonic Orchestra are presenting opera and operetta arias, and pieces for the orchestra.
