The number of victims of the Mount Merapi volcano on Java Island has exceeded 100. The volcano began to erupt on October 26 th . Accoridng to earlier reports, the death toll stood at 44, but on Friday rescue workers found another 60 dead bodies. Some 10,000 have been evacuated from the affected area in the past few days.
