One gunman was killed on Saturday when law enforcement officers in Russia’s volatile North Caucasus republic of Dagestan engaged a group of militants, a spokesman for the Investigative Committee said.
A local resident in the village of Garbutli, Tsuntin district was injured, he added.
Security officers are looking for the remaining militants.
