More civilians killed by NATO troops

NATO troops have killed civilians while driving a military vehicle in Afghanistan.

A military convoy, identified as British, drove into two civilians near Afghanistan’s capital Kabul.

Reuters reported the two people killed in the crash were women.

The troops then shot dead a third person who supposedly became aggressive at the scene of the accident.

As a crowd angrily gathered, the troops started opening fire to frighten them away.

When some people in the crowd pelted the NATO troops with stones, soldiers fired into the crowd.

A civilian man was killed and a woman and child were also wounded.

The British convoy then fled the scene but was stopped just outside the city by Afghan police before beibg handed back to NATO officials for an investigation.
