Moscow passed all data on August war to the Hague – News – GeorgiaTimes.info: “In the course of their visit to Moscow representatives of the International Criminal Court, investigating the events of August 2008, were granted all the necessary information from competent Russian structures.

According to the Foreign Ministry of Russia, ICC prosecutor’s office representatives held meetings with representatives of the Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Defense, General Prosecutor’s Office and Investigation Committee of the Prosecutor’s Office of Russia. The Russian side also informed of the process of investigation, being conducted by Investigation Committee of the Prosecutor’s Office and answered all the questions the guest side had.

The ICC delegation was headed by department head Beatrice Le Fraper du Hellen, and stayed in Moscow from March 8th to 10th – RIA Novosti.

Negotiations were held in constructive business atmosphere, the Foreign Ministry reports.

The ICC deals with genocide, crimes against humanity, military crimes. It can also try for aggression, but only after clear legal definition of the crime by the international community. N”
