Moscow says BiH interested in projects involving Russia

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Russia would like to speed up projects with Russian participation in the Balkan country, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

The report came after a deputy Russian foreign minister, Vladimir Titov, and his counterpart from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ana Trisic-Babic, met on Thursday to discuss a wide range of cooperation issues.

During the talks, the Russian side confirmed its readiness to support the strengthening of BiH’s statehood and help further stabilize the situation in the country.

After the talks, Titov and Trisic-Babic signed an intergovernmental program on cooperation in culture, science and education for the next two years, and approved a plan of ministerial consultations for 2011-12.
