The American military is going to supply its operations in Afghanistan with new high-tech reconnaissance drones. According to the BBC, each will be capable of relaying back to operators up to ten real time video streams. The system is called the Gorgon Stare, after a mythical female creature whose horrifying gaze turned everyone who beheld it into stone.
