A record number of posters and images depicting the late al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden have been sold in Pakistan since he was gunned down by U.S. Navy Seals on May 2.
More than 100,000 images of bin Laden have been sold in Pakistan over recent days, local media said, adding that the volume of sales is increasing daily.
Anti-U.S. sentiments in Pakistan have been stoked by frequent civilian deaths caused by American military drones.
Bin Laden’s death put an end to a nearly decade-long hunt for him by the U.S. and international law enforcement agencies.
