The residents of the Altay region in Siberia were lucky enough to see pink-backed pelicans when the birds made a stop over in the area during their long flight to Africa. Pelicans can never be seen in these eastern regions of Russia, but this time the birds were apparently confused by unprecedentedly warm temperatures.
