Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to approve a program selling assets of state-controlled Rosneftegaz, state pravo.gov.ru website said on Thursday.
“It is ordered to approve a program of stakes sale owned by Rosneftegas in firms of the fuel and energy complex in 2013-2015 taking into account market conditions,” the web-site reported.
Rosneftegaz holds 75.16 percent of the shares of state-controlled oil major Rosneft and 10.74 percent of energy giant Gazprom.
Previously, Putin signed a decree on Tuesday adding Rosneft to the list of Russian strategic enterprises likely to remain under state control and not be fully privatized.
