Reactors at Fukushima-1 NPP cooled down

The temperature of four reactors at the Fukushima-1 nuclear power plant is below 100 Celsius, Japan’s Defense Minister Toshimi Kitazawa told a press-conference Saturday.

He also said that the operation on water cooling of the third reactor fuel storage has been implemented successfully.

Meanwhile the number of people killed by the earthquake which hit Japan on March 11, has exceeded 7,300.

Almost 11,000 people are reported missing.

On Saturday, powerful aftershocks rocked Japan.

There is no threat of tsunami.
