Roman Pavlyuchenko agent cools Lokomotiv claims

Roman Pavlyuchenko’s agent has denied reports the Tottenham Hotspur striker has agreed a deal with Lokomotiv Moscow.

Pavlyuchenko’s future has been the subject of conjecture as the Russia international continues to struggle for regular first-team football at White Hart Lane, having made just two Premier League appearances this season.

Lokomotiv Moscow have been mooted as potential suitors for the forward, with a January transfer alleged to already have been agreed, but Pavlyuchenko’s representative, Oleg Artemov, has rejected the rumours.

“Roman has one-and-a-half years left on his contract with Tottenham,” Artemov told Sport Express. “And who found out that it’s Lokomotiv that has agreed anything with him?

“He hasn’t signed anything. There are more offers. We are learning, analysing and talking about them.”

When asked if Lokomotiv are the only Russian club to make an offer, Artemov replied: “It’s not true. This is not the reality.”
