Russia has become a member of the Eurimages, the fund established by the Council of Europe in 1988 for co-production, distribution of European films. Russia’s membership will facilitate the promotion of the national films in Europe. Over 23 years Eurimages has granted support to 1,348 films worth 407 million euros.
