Russian bears sniff aviation fuel until they pass out

Shoppers flee as bear enters store Dozens of brown bears in Russia have developed a nose for aviation fuel. The bears have been photographed sniffing kerosene and gasoline from containers used to power generators and helicopters by Kronotsky Nature Reserve workers in the far east of Russia. Photographer Igor Shpilenok, 52, said some bears even stalked helicopters and waited for drops of fuel to leak during take-off, the Daily Mail reported.
