Russia’s Agriculture Ministry expects 40% grain harvest growth in ’11

Russia’s grain harvest is expected to grow by 40% in 2011 to 85-87 million tons from slightly over 60 million tons in 2010 when the summer drought, the worst in Russia for decades, scorched one-third of the country’s sowing area, Deputy Agriculture Minister Sergei Korolyov said on Tuesday.
