Seven people were killed in a road accident when two passenger cars collided head-on in Russia’s Urals region on Saturday, the emergency situations ministry said.
Five people, including one child, were killed on the spot when a Mazda 3 and Toyota Paseo collided about 280 kilometers from the city of Sverdlovsk. Another two died later in hospital.
According to preliminary reports, the Mazda crossed the double line and drove into the oncoming lane.
