Two Moscow sides, Spartak and Dynamo, have returned into the Russian Premier League title race after both sides secured all three points in their home games against Lokomotiv and Kuban respectively.
Dynamo Moscow 2-1 Kuban
Aleksandr Kokorin scored what proved to be the winner as Dynamo Moscow kept up the pressure on the top two, Zenit and CSKA, with a 2-1 home win over Kuban.
Igor Semshov opened for the home side after 18 minutes, and Kokorin netted the second, eight minutes later.
Just before the hour, Roman Bugaev pulled a goal back for Dan Petrescu’s side with a speculative long-range shot.
But 2-1 it finished as Kuban stay seventh, while Dynamo stay third but move to within a point of second-placed CSKA.
Spartak Moscow 2-0 Lokomotiv
Emmanuel Emenike scored the first-half brace which has given Spartak a 2-0 win over Lokomotiv in the Moscow derby.
The Nigeria striker scored 3 on the last clash of this two.
Spartak are now back into championship group trailing 6 point to leaders Zenit and just 3 to second-seated CSKA.
