On April 12, thirty-five color guard units took part in a rehearsal in Lefortovo for the May 9 Victory Day Parade. Soldiers of the 154th Independent Commandant Regiment held a master class for standard bearers of other units during the rehearsal.
The 154th regiment has the honor each year of carrying the Victory Banner and the National Flag of the Russian Federation through Red Square to commence the parade.
