Unique animals: interesting bat facts
17:25 20/04/2011 The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), whose members include more than 1,000 of the world’s best zoos and aquariums, has sponsored annual campaigns devoted to the study and protection of rare animals. The year 2011 – The Year of the Bat – is devoted to the issues and problems of chiropterans, their study and conservation. These unique animals are the only flying mammals.
