Five vehicles collided in Venezuela’s northwestern state of Cojedes, killing from 12 to 14 people, according to various sources, Venezuelan media reported on Tuesday.
A passenger bus crashed with three heavy trucks and one car on a highway near the town of Chirguita.
“A total of 11 passengers died instantly, three died on the way to hospital. More than 20 injured have been hospitalized with various fractures and closed wounds,” road police spokesman Carlos Reyes told Venezuela’s Globovision TV.
There are 12 names on the list of victims, published by the El Nacional newspaper.
