Ural Airlines now offers more long-haul flights to the Asia than any other air carrier. This was the conclusion of Anna.aero (Airline Network News and Analysis), an online British publication for the air industry.

The airline’s press office told RusBusinessNews that a package of flights to China brought Ural Airlines extra points. The carrier’s planes fly to Harbin from Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, and Novosibirsk. Air service has been established between the capital of the Urals and the Middle Kingdom. A flight between Chelyabinsk and Beijing is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2013, and in October Ural Airlines will link Irkutsk and Harbin.

Ural Airlines is one of the top six airlines in Russia. In 2012, the air carrier served over 3.5 million passengers. Ural Airlines’ primary fleet consists of 26 Airbus aircraft.
