US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has postponed a planned visit to Russia amid the start of a UN-backed international military operation in Libya. Gates is flying out to St. Petersburg Sunday on a three-day visit here.
From St. Petersburg Gates will move down to Moscow to discuss with President Dmitry Medvedev issues pertaining to military reform, defense cooperation and international security.
