Russia’s UTair airline and US aerospace giant Boeing signed a contract on Wednesday for 40 Boeing 737 NG aircraft, worth an estimated $3.3 billion.
The deal, signed at the Le Bourget airshow in France, includes 33 737-800 airliners and seven 737-900ERs.
UTair is one of Russia’s largest airlines, and the largest civil helicopter operator, with a total fleet of 184 aircraft.
