Several settlements in Australia are endangered by deadly wildfires which have already destroyed 35 residential houses in the state of Western Australia. The police evacuated some 100 people in vicinity of the state’s administrative center, the city of Perth. The ongoing rescue operations involve 150 firefighters and several helicopters.
