Three men were charged on Friday morning with beating a woman with a baseball bat in Moscow, police said.
Police said the men attacked the women in the east of the capital after they had “been drinking all night long.” The suspects all worked at a nearby automobile repair centre.
One of them hit the woman four times with the baseball bat and grabbed her bag.
The suspects were detained after the woman’s husband heard her screams and called the police.
The woman was hospitalized.
