Five activists of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan were detained in Tajikistan on Wednesday, a local police spokesman said. He added that the five men are accused of abetting the creation of an Islamic State in Tajikistan, where 17 extremists have been nabbed by police over the last twenty days.
