Activist of the controversial art group Voina, out on bail over a performance, may be arrested in a new case, his lawyer told Interfax on Thursday.
St. Petersburg police accused Oleg Vorotnikov of hooliganism and attacking a police officer during an unsanctioned opposition rally held on March 31, the lawyer said, without elaborating.
City police did not comment on the story Thursday.
Vorotnikov and fellow Voina member Leonid Nikolayev face up to seven years behind bars over the group’s September performance that saw them flipping over police cars, some with officers in them.
