VLADIVOSTOK, July 30 (Itar-Tass) — About 100 passengers of the Continent airline are stranded at the Blagoveshchensk Airport in Russia’s Far East as the airline has announced its bankruptcy and cancelled all flights, the press service of the Amur region government told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

The airlines made flights from Blagoveshchensk to Russian southern cities of Krasnodar, Anapa, Sochi, and MIneralnye Vody, to Ukraine’s Simferopol, and also to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky also in the Far East.

According to the press service, some of the Continent passengers will be sent to their destinations by flights of other air carries. Additional flits may be organized to handle the situation. Money is paid to those who have opted not to fly, the press service added.
