Aide: Russian govt mulls selling whole stake in Rosneft by 2017

MOSCOW, Aug 3 (PRIME) — The Russian government is taking into consideration fully selling its stake in Russian oil major Rosneft by 2017, Russian Presidential Aide Arkady Dvorkovich told reporters Wednesday as cited by RIA Novosti.

The government currently holds a 75.16% stake in Rosneft via state-owned company Rosneftegaz, according to Rosnefts Web site.

The government initially planned to sell a 25% stake in Rosneft in 20112013 and keep a 50% plus one share stake in the company.
