Americans receive half the amount of vacation time of Russians

DALLAS, Texas – Recent findings reveal a huge disparity in paid and public holiday entitlements across the globe. When looking at both statutory annual leave and public holiday allowances, the U.S., ranked 25th out of 30, narrowly escapes the bottom five countries with the least amount of allotted vacation time. On average, most Americans receive ten days of paid time off and enjoy an additional ten national holidays, such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
