One hundred kilograms of apples will be distributed to people in Russia’s second largest city of St.Petersburg on Friday in a flash mob marking nine days after the death of Apple’s founder, Steve Jobs, the organizers of the flash mob said.
“Each person will also be able to put his note on an improvised poster with the Apple logo,” the organizers said in a statement.
Jobs, the heart and soul of the computer technologies giant, Apple, died of pancreatic cancer on October 5 at the age of 56 just a day after the new Apple’s CEO Tim Cook unveiled the iPhone 4S in the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
