At least 10 people injured in road accident in southwest Moscow

MOSCOW, June 12 (RIA Novosti) – At least 10 people were injured after five cars collided in the southwest of Moscow near the Lomonosov State University on the early Sunday morning, a police source said.

“According to preliminary information, 10 people were injured in the traffic accident,” the source said.

He refused to give further details adding that the investigation into the accident is underway.

According to statistics, 30,000 people lose their lives in traffic accidents every year in Russia due to the poor state of highway networks and reckless driving.
