At least five people, including two children, were killed and 18 others were injured when a bus collided with a truck in Russia’s Novosibirsk region early on Sunday, emergencies services said.
The bus, carrying 35 or 38 people, caught fire after colliding head-on with the Kamaz truck at about 2 am local time (19:00 GMT, Saturday).
Ten people have been admitted to hospital, including six in a grave condition. Police are working at the site to establish the cause of the accident.
The bus was en route from the city of Tomsk to the Kazakh city of Semipalatinsk.
