The armed bank robber in the eastern Bulgarian city of Sliven has released one of his hostages, while six others remain locked up a local bank. The building is surrounded by police.
According to initial reports, three masked men tried to rob a local branch of Investbank. Subsequent reporting from the spot said that there is just one robber.
Upon entering the robber shot and wounded one of the bank guards, who has been taken to hospital.
