Boy loses arm as bomb explodes near pyramids

Three Egyptian children have been injured by an explosion at the Giza Pyramids.

An explosive device went off after the children started playing with it.

A boy lost his arm in the incident.

The three children had found the shell in the desert during the evening when no tourists were around.

Not knowing what it was, they carried it back to the Pyramids and tried to open the cap.

It then exploded, wounding all three.

Officials have said the shell was probably left over from the war.
