Burglars rob apartment of popular NTV anchorwoman

MOSCOW, August 3 (Itar-Tass) —— Natalya Maltseva – an anchorwoman of a popular “Kvartirny Vopros” (apartment design) project on NTV channel, had her own apartment robbed when she was away from home, Moscow police told Itar-Tass.

Maltseva called police on Tuesday morning. The victim said that burglars broke into her apartment on Ozerkovskaya embankment, using a false key to the front door. The victim was away from home from July 26 until August 2 when she returned.

The burglars stole some jewelry, two portable computers, a video camera and a photo camera. The overall valuables stolen were estimated at around 340,000 rubles, police said.

There is a video camera in the entrance to the house where the victim lives. Police are hoping that the burglars might have been filmed on a video tape.
