A woman driving a Toyota Ipsum hit four pedestrians in the Far Eastern Amur Region, leaving three of them dead and one seriously injured, a traffic police spokesman said on Thursday.
The accident occurred on a highway some 65 km from the city of Blagoveshchensk. Three people, including a 76-year-old man, died immediately.
“The fourth victim, born in 1951, received serious injuries: she was taken to hospital with an open hip fracture,” the source said.
