Passers-by in central Moscow on July 31 may have felt as if they were in a different era, as the streets of the capital suddenly were filled with rare vintage cars.
This was the seventh annual rally of the “Classic car rally club” which started and finished at the Hotel Ukraine.
Owners of rare automobiles made before 1979 flocked in to display their cars and enjoy them with other enthusiasts.
The expensive Bentleys and Mercedes which usually fill Kutuzovksy Avenue pale in comparison to the cars on show yesterday, which included a 1926 Rolls Royce Phantom and a unique 1932 Aubern.
