Congressional budget fight battles the clock


(CBS News) Unless Republicans and Democrats in Congress can reach a budget deal, the federal government could shut down on Friday.
So are lawmakers close to a deal? CBS News Congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes reports, it depends whom you ask.
Democrats are signaling a done deal; “We’ve agreed on a number,” Sen. Harry Reid said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday.
