Czech police say they have uncovered a suspected terrorist cell accused of helping prepare terrorist acts in the North Caucasus.
The group of eight men and one woman are accused of being members of the Daghestan-based radical Islamist group Jamaat Shariat.
The suspected terrorist cell had moved its base from Berlin to Prague, according to police.
They have been accused of falsifying travel documents and organizing weapons and explosives to be used in terrorist attacks in the North Caucasus region.
Seven suspects were arrested in the Czech Republic, two in Germany.
Those arrested included nationals of Bulgaria and people from the North Caucasus.
Separately, Czech police raided the apartment of a 31-year-old Chechen in central Bohemia, where they found weapons and ammunition.
