KALUGA, July 20 (Itar-Tass) —— The third international youth camp Dialogue will open at the cultural and educational tourist centre Etnomir in the Borovsk district of the Kaluga Region on Wednesday.
The Russian council for youth and children’s associations under the support of the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Council of Europe Directorate of Youth and Sport and the Kaluga regional government hold the forum, a source in the staff of the governor told Itar-Tass.
Young people from Russia, European and CIS countries will discuss intercultural and interfaith problems at the Dialogue forum for four days. The forum agenda includes master classes, creative games, seminars and discussion clubs and sport events. Representatives of Russian state authorities, the Council of Europe and the European youth forum will be the guests in the camp.
The Dialogue forum will be held in a tent camp at the Etnomir centre. The forum is implementing one of the top projects of the international charity foundation “Dialogue of Cultures – Common World”, which is planned to complete by 2020. The top priority of the camp is the equality of cultures regardless the level of economic development of a country or its international status.
Ethnic workshops, which represent more than 50 countries, will be placed on 80 hectares. The visitors will be able to study their culture, customs, daily life, history, folklore, mythology, national cuisine and crafts at the workshops. A 2-kilometer-long Peace Street will connect the workshops.
