Fish species from all over the world are arriving in Moscow, as the city is opening what is promised to be its biggest aquarium yet.
The new venue will be located in the Rio shopping-centre on the Dmitrovskoye road.
The aquarium will be divided into several themed zones. Some $1.8 million has been spent on exotic tropical fish, including stingrays and sharks.
Visitors will be also able to see birds of paradise, anacondas from Brazil, penguins and performing seals – straight from the Arctic.
The opening ceremony will be held on October 28.
