Roger Federer starts the defense of his World Tour finals title in London on Sunday. The world number four will play Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the opening match.
The tournament brings together the world’s top eight players.
Initially they are divided into two groups in a round-robin format, and the top two from each then go through to the semis.
Also in Federer’s group are Mardy Fish and Rafael Nadal, who feature in Sunday’s second match.
While world number one Novak Djokovic lines up alongside world number three Andy Murray in Group A, along with David Ferrer and Tomas Berdych.
Six-time Wimbledon champion, Federer comes into the competition in good form, while Nadal is back after a few weeks off. And despite the presence of the ATP Tour leader Novak Djokovic, Federer is considered as the main favorite. Last week the Swiss dominated in Paris, clinching 18th Masters title to tie the record-holder Andre Agassi, and added another title in Basel.
