MOSCOW, August 26 (RIA Novosti) – Five people have been killed and two more injured as a Gazelle van and a Renault truck collided in the Moscow Region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported Monday.
The accident occurred on the A107 road northeast of the Russian capital. Both vehicles were traveling in the same direction.
Those who died had been riding in the Gazelle, which caught fire after the collision.
The two injured people, who had been riding in the Renault, were taken to a nearby hospital in the town of Pushkino, the ministry said.
